Cashless payment at some streets to be piloted
On the 11th of November, the Provincial People's Committee agreed that the State Bank of Vietnam branch in Dong Thap province preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of the cities: Cao Lanh, Sa Dec, Hong Ngu to organize a pilot program of 12-months non-cash payment at some streets in those cities.
This job is aimed at promoting digital transformation, creating a healthy and safe payment environment for people in the province to experience modern payment forms, quickly access applications in non-cash payment.
After the pilot period, the State Bank of Vietnam branch in Dong Thap province is responsible for organizing, evaluating the results and gradually implementing replication in the remaining localities in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of Cao Lanh, Sa Dec and Hong Ngu cities to coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam - Dong Thap province branch in organizing the implementation.
