Dong Thap and Something Group (Japan) signed a cooperative agreement in many fields
In order to enhance mutual understanding, promote and develop the cooperative relationship between Dong Thap Province People's Committee and Something Group (Japan), on the morning of December 15, the two sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

Leaders of Dong Thap province include: Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee/Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Pham Thien Nghia - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Sato Kouichiro - Director of the Foreign Division - the representative of Something Group discussed the need for cooperation in the future, in which promoting the strengths of each side to achieve the goal for the development of Dong Thap province and Something Group.
Thereby, the two sides cooperated and researched the field of digital transformation of the agricultural sector in accordance with the conditions of Dong Thap province; research, cooperation and pilot implementation of Oncho HoneyBee system in Sa Dec flower village.
Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee and Something Group agreed to jointly organize exchange activities, exchange delegations to learn experiences and professional training in the fields of labor, education, and high-tech agriculture, promote the search for export markets for agricultural products and many fields of mutual interest.
Depending on the actual situation, capabilities and approriate conditions, the two sides jointly organize a workshop on the possibility of applying piles from soil and cement in construction works in Dong Thap province.
Besides, Something Group will strengthen the connection to recruit interns in Dong Thap province and create a suitable working environment for Dong Thap interns after completing the training course at the Group; supporting Dong Thap province to connect with corporations, promoting the export of agricultural and aquatic products; connecting with Japanese investors to implement investment projects in production, processing and preservation of agricultural products, etc.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Van Thang suggested that the Provincial People's Committee and Something Group soon effectively implement the signed contents, each related department closely cooperate with the Group’s relevant division to concretize the next steps.
Mr. Sato Kouichiro thanked the leaders of Dong Thap province and looked forward to more intensive cooperation between Dong Thap and the Group. In the near future, the Group will invite other units to invest in Dong Thap. This December alone, Something Company will return to Dong Thap to recruit interns to work in Japan. In the long term, that will create jobs for provincial people working Japan to return to Vietnam with modern jobs and technology.
