In the field of digital transformation, the two sides will cooperate to develop solutions and policies for comprehensive digital transformation in the agricultural sector; research and implement solutions to apply artificial intelligence to medical examination and treatment; training digital transformation skills, network safety and security for medical staff; develop solutions and policies for comprehensive digital transformation in the field of education.

Cooperation in the field of agriculture - industry, the University will research to improve and restore a number of key plant and animal varieties suitable to the production conditions of Dong Thap province; Research and propose solutions to apply high technology in agriculture, etc.

In the field of environment, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province and the University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City agreed to research and propose solutions to adapt to climate change and conserve biodiversity according to the project of Dong Thap province; research and propose solutions for environmental protection, natural resource management and solutions for circular economy and sustainable development; study and develop the surrounding zone of Tram Chim National Park in the period of 2021 - 2030.

In the field of education, the two sides will cooperate in training masters and postgraduate students in ministerial-level Science and Technology projects of the Ministry of Education and Training, led by Dong Thap University; joint training, training industry staff, organizing training programs in natural sciences, etc.

After this joint signing, the two sides will have a specific implementation plan for each signed content.

Previously, lecturers of the University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City had a number of of programs in research, cooperation and technology transfer with organizations and individuals in Dong Thap province. For example, studies at Tram Chim National Park, participation in bamboo growing projects in Gao Giong, water circulation technology transfer at Dong Thap Aqua Company, Lap Vo district, etc.
