Vinh Hoan's 25-year journey has experienced many memorable timelines with impressive developments. Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Vinh Hoan Limited Company, was established on December 27^th 1997, with an initial capital of VND 300 million, the first five customers, and 70 workers.

Over the past 25 years, Vinh Hoan has continuously grown, leading the province's catfish industry and being the leading pangasius exporting company in Vietnam (according to VASEP). Vinh Hoan currently has a farming area spanning more than 750 hectares and a system of six processing factories, consuming more than 1.000 tons of raw fish per day. The value chain of Vinh Hoan's products is expanding. The products, which are increasingly diverse, have exported to 50 countries, including demanding markets such as the United States, Europe, Japan, etc.

The company also creates jobs for more than 10.000 employees,  annually contributes to the provincial budget of nearly VND 200 billion; actively and effectively participates in social security activities.

With those achievements, the Government awarded Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company the Emulation Flag as an outstanding unit in the emulation movement in 2021. The chairman of the provincial people's committee presented certificates of merit to eight divisions of the company to recognize their contributions to local socioeconomic development. 

Ms. Truong Thi Le Khanh - Founder and Chairwoman of the Board was awarded the title of “Typical ASEAN Female Entrepreneur” in 2022.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly valued the accomplishments of Vinh Hoan Company over the previous 25 years for not only making significant contributions to the pangasius industry, the province's primary industry, but also for spearheading the development of businesses in the province and exemplifying the spirit of perseverance, creativity, and overcoming obstacles.

"Vinh Hoan's success today is an example of the companionship, sharing, and concern of leaders of Dong Thap province over the years for a staple industry, for building momentum, and for creating opportunities for each business in the province," said Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that, among Vinh Hoan's achievements in recent years, the provincial leaders appreciate the contribution of Ms. Truong Thi Le Khanh - Founder and Executive Director of Vinh Hoan in the early days of its establishment, from hardship to becoming a strong brand today, one of the big enterprises of the province and the whole country, a person with full energy and responsibility has led and oriented the ship Vinh Hoan to reach the world successfully.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished all managers, employees, and employees of Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company good health, happiness, and success as well as continued growth.

On this occasion, Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company awarded 80 houses under the Vinh Hoan Shelter program to Dong Thap province, VND 1 billion to Dong Thap General Hospital, VND 1 billion to Nguyen Sinh Sac Study Promotion Fund, and VND 1 billion to the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and the Poor Patients of Dong Thap Province.
