Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank Donates to Support Orphans due to the Covid-19 Epidemic
In the morning of October 14th, Mr. Tran Van Sau - Deputy Head of Provincial delegation of National Assembly and leaders of Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs attended the awarding ceremony to support orphaned children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Thanh Binh district. The programme is sponsored by Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB).
Donating money to support orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic in Thanh Binh district
Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank has donated VND 08 billion to the Vietnam Children's Fund to support 1.600 orphaned children across the country affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the support of VND 05 million per child. Of which, Dong Thap province has 49 children (Thanh Binh district has 18 of these) receiving support with a total amount of VND 245 million.
At the ceremony, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also presented 18 gifts to children (VND 250.000 VND per each) from the Provincial Fund of Gratitude and Children.
