Dong Thap Labor is highly appreciated by Japanese Trade Union
On the morning of August 8, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Doan Tan Buu and leaders of relevant departments and agencies had a meeting to work with Mr. Munemura Hideo - Chairman of Zenkoku Chusyo Kigyo Keiyukai Jigyo Kyodo Kumiai Union (Japan) on the cooperation program to send laborers to work abroad under contracts.
Mr. Munemura Hideo said that the Union had received about 300 Dong Thap interns working at Japanese airports, and at the same time highly appreciated the skills, hard work and discipline of Dong Thap workers these days.
With the results achieved, Mr. Munemura Hideo proposed to continue recruiting Dong Thap laborers to work in Japan. In addition to working at the airport, the Union is in great demand in recruiting midwifery and nursing interns.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Tan Buu said that sending laborers to work abroad is one of the major tasks of the province. With the enthusiastic support and coordination of Japanese Trade Unions, including the Zenkoku Chusyo Kigyo Keiyukai Jigyo Kyyodo Kumiai Union, Dong Thap's employees can easily go to Japan to work. Dong Thap also considers Japan as the main market to focus on propagating and mobilizing laborers to work abroad.
For the areas the Trade Union just discussed, Mr. Doan Tan Buu assigned the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with relevant departments, branches, units, training institutions to research and propose the cooperative programs appropriately. In addition, Mr. Doan Tan Buu also wishes to connect and bring Dong Thap workers to work in Japan in the field of agriculture.
