Department of Industry and Trade of Đồng Tháp province is a specialized agency under Đồng Tháp Provincial People's Committee (PPC), who performs the function of advising and assisting the PPC in performing the state management of industry and trade, including: Mechanical engineering; Metallurgical; Electricity; New energy, renewable energy; Oil and gas (if any); Chemistry; Industry explode materials; Mining and processing of minerals (except construction materials); the quality of industrial works (except for those managed by the Construction Department, the Economic Zone Management Board and the District People's Committee); Consumer industry; Food industry; Other processing industries; Food safety; Transporting goods in the province; Import-Export; Border trade; Trade promotion; Electronic ecommerce; Trade services, International economic integration; Competition management, Anti-dumping; Price management of milk and functional foods for children under the age of six; Anti-subsidy, protection of consumer interests; Industrial promotion, industrial cluster management, upporting industries; To manage and organize the implementation of public services in the mentioned fields in accordance with the laws.
