Mr. Yan Jiehe - Founder of Pacific Construction Group, shared his thoughts on the need to explore investment opportunities in the province

Mr. Yan Jiehe expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the leadership of the Provincial People's Committee and his impression of Dong Thap province's development potential. He shared that Pacific Construction Group is a major private enterprise in China in the field of infrastructure, with strong expertise in planning, design, and overall construction. The Group is committed to bringing financial resources, technology, and international experience to Vietnam while implementing projects under the criteria of fast progress, high quality, and reasonable costs.

Mr. Yan Jiehe expressed his wish that the leadership of Dong Thap province would create favorable conditions for the Group to conduct surveys and seek investment opportunities in infrastructure projects, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and attracting investment to the locality.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, informed businesses about investment opportunities in Dong Thap.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that the province has gained many favorable conditions to expand its socio-economic development space after merging Dong Thap and Tien Giang provinces into a new administrative unit. Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai also described the local socio-economic development situation. There are currently six stable economic zones in the province, with many Chinese businesses investing and doing well.

The province is concentrating on modifying its planning to increase development space because of its huge population and advantageous geographic location, according to the chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The path along the Tien River is recognized as a crucial economic axis and will be given priority for investment in the near future following the completion of provincial planning. In particular, traffic infrastructure is still being invested in with important expressways.

Along with that, the development of logistics infrastructure is identified as a core task to utilize the advantage of being the gateway to the Mekong Delta region to develop supply chains for the rice, fruit, and agricultural product industries. In particular, the Chinese market continues to be an important export market for the province's fruits.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai emphasized that the province is always ready to accompany and create favorable conditions for businesses to explore investment opportunities; at the same time, he assigned relevant departments and agencies to continue exchanging and exploring cooperation opportunities with Pacific Construction Group in the coming time.
