In the morning of June 28, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mr. Pham Thien Nghia and leaders of provincial departments and leaders of Hong Ngu district, Tan Hong district, and Hong Ngu city had a working session with leaders of two companies.

Leaders of Dong Thap province and the companies discussed about  developing the Border Gate Economic Zone

Following the presentations by two companies, Mr. Pham Thien Nghia, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, agreed on the approach and research strategy for the enterprises. He also expressed great appreciation for the investment ideas of the two companies.

In accordance with the spirit of Politburo Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW dated April 2, 2022, on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Mekong Delta region to 2030, with a vision to 2045, as stressed by the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, the development of the Dong Thap Provincial Border Gate Economic Zone had always been a focus of the province's investment attraction.

Mr. Pham Thien Nghia also said that the decision on investment policy for the Border Gate Economic Zone needs the opinions of the Central Ministries; based on the ideas and investment proposals of enterprises, the province will have opinions on the contents under its authority and will accompany enterprises in the next steps.
