Ms. Katie Knight - Deputy Secretary of the New South Wales Investment Authority was pleased to receive the delegation, thereby, highly appreciating the agricultural strengths of Dong Thap along with the opportunity to promote trade between the two sides.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Phan Van Thang hoped that Ms. Katie Knight would connect and support businesses to promote business connections between 02 localities in the fields of agriculture, health, and improving the quality of human resources.

Thereby, Ms. Katie Knight said that she would discuss with the New South Wales State Director of Commerce so that during a business trip to Vietnam at the end of 2024, she would come to Dong Thap to research, learn about areas with local strengths and have an appropriate cooperation promotion program.

Mr. Phan Van Thang thanked the Vietnam Entrepreneurs Association in Sydney and hoped that businesses in the Association would connect to introduce Dong Thap agricultural products and export them to the Australian market.

Thereby, the Association acknowledged the invitation to visit Dong Thap to learn about fruits, lotus and potential agricultural products of the province.

The delegation also visited KQ TraDing Company, a logistics enterprise specializing in transporting goods to countries around the world. Through the meeting, the company shared that in the coming time, they would study and support Dong Thap businesses that need to bring agricultural products to the Australian market.
