Delegates voted to approve the Resolutions

At the session, People's Council delegates focused on discussing and unanimously approving 31 Resolutions. Among them, the Provincial People's Council delegates unanimously approved the Resolution on the plan to adjust the public investment capital plan for 2025 from the State Budget; Resolution on assigning civil servant payrolls in administrative agencies of Dong Thap province in 2025; the Resolution approving the total number of people working with salaries from the state budget (in public non-business units whose recurrent expenditures are guaranteed by the state budget, public non-business units that partially guarantee their own recurrent expenditures under the Provincial People's Committee, under specialized agencies of the Provincial People's Committee, under commune and ward People's Committees) in 2025, totaling 26,300 people.

Accordingly, the total number of cadres and civil servants in provincial and commune-level administrative agencies of Dong Thap province in 2025 is 4,515 positions. Of which, cadres and civil servants in provincial-level administrative agencies of Dong Thap province are 1,047 positions; cadres and civil servants in commune-level administrative agencies of Dong Thap province are 3,468 positions.

Specifically for non-specialized commune-level personnel, the existing number of non-specialized personnel of the old commune-level People's Committee will be transferred to the new commune-level People's Committee (after administrative unit rearrangement) for reception, arrangement, and implementation of rearrangement when there are guidelines from the Central Government. In cases where individuals wish to resign immediately upon the implementation of the two-tier local government, benefits and policies will be resolved according to regulations.

Specifically, continuing to effectively implement the 05 strategic breakthroughs, 06 key tasks, and 11 groups of main tasks and solutions for 2025; focus on completing key projects to celebrate the Provincial Party Congress.

Concurrently, strengthening direction and close supervision at the grassroots level, promptly resolve local recommendations, especially supporting commune-level authorities to effectively operate the two-tier government model; focus on strict direction of record management and storage; document digitization; inventory and control of public assets, accounts, and projects; financial finalization, etc. - Mr. Phan Van Thang proposed.
