Dong Thap’s Women Receive The Vietnam Women’s Award and Startup Awards
In the morning of October 15th, the Vietnam Women's Union held the Vietnam Women's Award Ceremony and the Women's Startup Contest 2021.
Mr. Doan Tan Buu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC)
and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union presented the Vietnam Women's Award and congratulated Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thia with flowers.
This year's Vietnam Women's Award went to 06 collectives and 10 individuals in the fields of economy, education, culture, health care, social work, and community development. Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thia – Deputy head of Women's Union in Hamlet 4, Hung Thanh commune, Thap Muoi district honored to receive this award.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thia was once voted by Forbes Magazine as the inspirational woman 2021 with positive contributions to society. She has been giving free swimming lessons for 3.800 children, contributing to reducing drowning among children in the locality.
The Women’s Startups Contest 2021 has honored 24 typical startup projects with a total prize value of nearly VND 2,5 billion and other valueble rewards. Ba Tre Lotus Seed Milk instant Powder of Ms. Nguyen Thuy Kieu - Ba Tre One Member Limited Liability Company, Phu Cuong commune, Tam Nong district excellently entered the top 24th from thousands of entries.
