Accordingly, the Secretariat of the Central Committee decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies, to cease participating in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee and to relinquish his position as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies for the 2025-2030 term; and to transfer and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department Nguyen Thanh Tam congratulated Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan on assuming his new responsibility and expressed confidence that he would continue to uphold his political integrity and qualities, develop his abilities and experience, quickly grasp the local situation, and, together with the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the Standing Board of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, unite and work together to successfully lead and direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam requested that the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee strengthen unity, consensus, sharing, and support to help Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan quickly integrate and focus on leading and directing the effective implementation of political tasks, socio - economic development, national defense, security, and foreign affairs of the locality... In particular, emphasis should be placed on continuing to innovate thinking and leadership methods associated with building a capable cadre contingent; leading and directing the acceleration of growth rates and transforming the growth model linked to removing bottlenecks in investment and land; developing a green, digital, and circular economy associated with strategic infrastructure investment and human resource quality enhancement; and striving to achieve “double-digit” GRDP growth starting in 2026 and maintaining a stable growth target of 10% or higher through the end of the term in accordance with the Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 tenure.

On behalf of the leadership of the Central Organizing Commission, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam expressed his confidence that the Party Committee, government, and people of Dong Thap province will continue to strive and make efforts to build Dong Thap into an increasingly prosperous and strong province; and that the Party Committee will be truly clean, strong, and worthy of the expectations and trust of cadres, Party members, and the people of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Chi Cuong shared that, in his capacity as head of the Provincial Party Organization, he would work alongside the Executive Committee and Standing Committee to create the most favorable conditions for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan to perform well in his assigned duties and successfully execute the Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 tenure.

At the same time, Mr. Ngo Chi Cuong recommended that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan immediately assume his new responsibilities and join the Executive Committee and Standing Committee in completing all tasks, thereby contributing to Dong Thap's speedy and sustained growth.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan respectfully thanked General Secretary and President To Lam; Standing Member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu , Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies; the Party Central Committee Secretariat; the Central Organization Department; and the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for entrusting him with this important responsibility. He deeply understood that this was a great honor, but also an extremely heavy responsibility.

The period 2026 - 2030 opens up many opportunities, while also placing new and higher demands on Dong Thap province. I will wholeheartedly and diligently strive to work harder with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee to inherit and build upon the achievements and results of previous generations of provincial leaders; to uphold the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, compassion, dynamism, and creativity; and to resolutely and vigorously strive to develop Dong Thap rapidly and sustainably, with the central goal of achieving double-digit economic growth; improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of the economy, creating a clear transformation in income, employment, and the quality of life of the people; ensuring growth goes hand in hand with green development, environmental protection, social welfare, cultural identity preservation, and enhancement of material and spiritual life, thereby successfully fulfilling the objectives of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 tenure.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan expressed his hope that in the coming time he would continue to receive more leadership, guidance, attention, support, and favorable conditions from key leaders of the Central Committee, leaders of central ministries, departments, and agencies, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and all cadres and Party members in the province to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
