Based on Proposal No. 377/DA-CP dated May 09, 2025 of the Government on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Dong Thap province (new) in 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to arrange and establish commune-level administrative units of Dong Thap province as follows:

1. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Sa Rai township, Binh Phu commune (Tan Hong district), and Tan Cong Chi commune to establish a new commune named Tan Hong commune.

2. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Thong Binh commune and Tan Thanh A commune to form a new commune named Tan Thanh commune.

3. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Thanh B commune and Tan Ho Co commune to form a new commune named Tan Ho Co commune.

4. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Phuoc commune (Tan Hong district) and An Phuoc commune to form a new commune named An Phuoc commune.

5. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Thuong Thoi Tien town, Thuong Phuoc 1 commune, and Thuong Phuoc 2 commune to form a new commune named Thuong Phuoc commune.

6. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Long Khanh A commune and Long Khanh B commune to form a new commune named Long Khanh commune.

7. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Long Thuan commune, Phu Thuan A commune, and a part of the natural area and population size of Phu Thuan B commune to form a new commune named Long Phu Thuan commune.

8. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phu Thanh B commune and An Hoa commune to form a new commune named An Hoa commune.

9. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phu Duc commune and Phu Hiep commune to form a new commune named Tam Nong commune.

10. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phu Thanh A commune and Phu Tho commune to form a new commune named Phu Tho commune.

11. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tram Chim town and Tan Cong Sinh commune to form a new commune named Tram Chim commune.

12. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phu Cuong commune (Tam Nong district), Hoa Binh commune, and a part of the natural area and population size of Gao Giong commune to form a new commune named Phu Cuong commune.

13. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of An Phong, Phu Ninh, and An Long communes to form a new commune named An Long commune.

14. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan My commune and Tan Phu commune (Thanh Binh district), Thanh Binh town, and a part of the natural area and population size of Tan Thanh commune (Thanh Binh district) to form a new commune named Thanh Binh commune.

15. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phu Loi commune and the remaining part of Tan Thanh commune (Thanh Binh district) after arrangement according to the provisions of Clause 14 of this Article to form a new commune named Tan Thanh commune.

16. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Binh Thanh commune (Thanh Binh district) and Binh Tan commune to form a new commune named Binh Thanh commune.

17. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Binh commune and Tan Hoa commune (Thanh Binh district), Tan Quoi, Tan Hue, Tan Long communes, and the remaining part of Phu Thuan B commune after arrangement according to the provisions of Clause 7 of this Article to form a new commune named Tan Long commune.

18. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of My An town, My An commune, and My Hoa commune to form a new commune named Thap Muoi commune.

19. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phu Dien commune and Thanh My commune to form a new commune named Thanh My commune.

20. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Lang Bien, My Dong, and My Qui communes to form a new commune named My Qui commune.

21. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Kieu commune and Doc Binh Kieu commune to form a new commune named Doc Binh Kieu commune.

22. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Thanh Loi commune and Truong Xuan commune to form a new commune named Truong Xuan commune.

23. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Hung Thanh commune (Thap Muoi district) and Phuong Thinh commune to form a new commune named Phuong Thinh commune.

24. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phong My commune and the remaining part of Gao Giong commune after arrangement according to Clause 12 of this Article to form a new commune named Phong My commune.

25. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Phuong Tra commune and Ba Sao commune to form a new commune named Ba Sao commune.

26. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of My Tho town and My Hoi (Cao Lanh district), My Xuong, My Tho communes to form a new commune named My Tho commune.

27. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Hoi Trung, Binh Hang Tay, and Binh Hang Trung communes to form a new commune named Binh Hang Trung commune.

28. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of My Long commune and Binh Thanh commune (Cao Lanh district), My Hiep commune to form a new commune named My Hiep commune.

29. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan My commune (Lap Vo district), Hoi An Dong, My An Hung A, and My An Hung B communes to form a new commune named My An Hung commune.

30. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Long Hung A, Long Hung B, and Tan Khanh Trung communes to form a new commune named Tan Khanh Trung commune.

31. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Lap Vo town and Binh Thanh commune (Lap Vo district), Vinh Thanh, Binh Thanh Trung communes to form a new commune named Lap Vo commune.

32. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Thanh commune and Tan Phuoc commune (Lai Vung district), Dinh An commune, Dinh Yen commune to form a new commune named Lai Vung commune.

33. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Lai Vung town and Long Hau, Long Thang, Hoa Long communes to form a new commune named Hoa Long commune.

34. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Hoa commune (Lai Vung district), Dinh Hoa, Vinh Thoi, and Phong Hoa communes to form a new commune named Phong Hoa commune.

35. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Phu Dong, Hoa Thanh, and Tan Duong communes to form a new commune named Tan Duong commune.

38. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Binh commune and Tan Phu commune (Chau Thanh district), Phu Long commune, Tan Phu Trung commune to form a new commune named Tan Phu Trung commune.

39. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Hoi commune and Tan Phu commune (Cai Lay township), My Hanh Dong commune to form a new commune named Tan Phu commune.

40. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Tan Thanh, Tan Hung, and An Thai Trung communes to form a new commune named Thanh Hung commune.

41. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Hoa Hung, My Luong, and An Huu communes to form a new commune named An Huu commune.

The National Assembly Standing Committee requests relevant agencies to urgently carry out some necessary preparatory works to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement officially operate from July 01, 2025.
